Duo in England Action - Ipswich Town News
Dean Bowditch and Darryl Knights were both on winning England sides on Monday. Bowditch played 64 minutes as the U19s beat Sweden 1-0 and Knights put in a full 90 for the U17s who defeated Northern Ireland 3-0, the Town man setting up the second goal.
The U19s have now qualified for the UEFA European U19 Championship Finals in Northern Ireland in July. They finish the second round of qualifying with a game against Moldova at Blackpool on Thursday.
Knights's side are in a good position to reach the UEFA European U17 Championship Finals which are being played in Italy this summer. They complete their games at their mini-tournament when they take on the Republic of Ireland at Walsall on Thursday.
