Dyer Wants Town Return - Ipswich Town News
Controversy-mired Kieron Dyer says he wants to return to Town later in his career. The Newcastle United midfielder was speaking prior to his red card for an on-pitch disagreement with team-mate Lee Bowyer.
Dyer, who has another year on his deal at Newcastle, says he wants to end his playing days at Portman Road: "I'd love to finish my career at Ipswich.
"I'm only 26, but, when I play for my final club, I want it to be Ipswich Town. They got me started and I owe them a lot. It's still home to me."
