Town's U18s got in the winning mood ahead of Friday's FA Youth Cup semi-final first leg against Spurs with a 2-1 win away against the MK Dons on Saturday.
Goals from Danny Haynes and Stuart Ainsley gave the Blues the victory.
The youngsters go into Friday's game at Portman Road (KO 7pm) full of confidence and looking to better the 2000/01 side - including Darrens Bent and Ambrose, Matt Richards and Ian Westlake - who were defeated 7-6 on aggregate by Arsenal at the semi-final stage.
