Cotterill Delight at Dean - Ipswich Town News
Burnley manager Steve Cotterill says he is delighted that loan striker Dean Bowditch got his name on the scoresheet in Saturday's 3-1 win over Watford. Bowditch was playing his third game for the Clarets.
Cotterill said: "I spoke to Dean before the Sheffield United game and said that for all his good play, he wasn't getting too many efforts on goal.
"He did that, and before last Saturday's game I said 'now you have got to score a goal'.
"For all of Dean's hard work and link-up play, he needs Ipswich Town to be looking at the goalscorers and seeing the name 'Bowditch'.
"That's his club and they will be looking to see how he has done, so the goal is good for him and we are delighted with him."
