Price in Wales Call - Ipswich Town News

Second-choice keeper Lewis Price has been given a preliminary call into a full Wales squad travelling to Spain a training camp in May. Price, who has six U21 caps, was recently given his first senior call by new boss John Toshack.

The new manager had considered a post-season friendly but has instead opted for a training camp in San Sebastian in the Basque region of Spain.

Toshack is not expected to finally announce the squad until nearer the time due to expected withdrawals by players involved in club fixtures which clash with the Wales trip.

If Town are in the play-offs, the Blues are certain to pull Price out of the party. This season the Championship play-off semi-finals are on the weekend of 14th/15th May and in the following midweek. The final is on Monday, 30th May.
