Dean Bowditch's loan at Burnley has been extended until the end of the season. The 18-year-old netted his first goal for the Clarets in the 3-1 victory over Watford at the weekend.
Burnley manager Steve Cotterill is pleased to be keeping the England U19 for a longer spell: "Dean is a good young player and he'll help us out until the end of the season."
Bowditch's initial month was due to expire on Saturday.
The frontman recently signed a new contract at Portman Road which will keep him at Town until 2008 and is only at Turf Moor to gain first team experience.
