Lowestoft Keeper on Trial - Ipswich Town News
Lowestoft keeper Andy Reynolds is currently on trial with the Town Academy. The 17-year-old played for the U18s in their 2-1 win at the MK Dons at the weekend and will be on the bench when they take on Spurs in the FA Youth Cup semi-final first leg at Portman Road on Friday (KO 7pm).
Reynolds has been a regular for the Ridgeons League Premier Division side this season, alongside former Blue Lee Durrant.
Like Durrant, Reynolds joined Lowestoft from Waveney Youth FC.
Town have released schoolboy David Blackmore who had been sub keeper for the previous FA Youth Cup matches.
Highly-rated Iceland U17 stopper Ã"skar Pétursson will join the Academy as a full-time first year scholar in the summer.
