Miller Town's Only Doubt - Ipswich Town News

Tommy Miller is Town's only doubt ahead of Monday's live Sky game at Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, the 13-goal midfielder is expected to be fit enough to face Glenn Hoddle's draw specialists (Sky Sports One, KO 7.45pm).

Miller picked up a calf injury during the 3-2 victory over Derby and the knock forced him off in the 4-3 win against Rotherham. The former Hartlepool man missed training as a precaution after the Millers match but was expected back in training on Sunday.

Sunderland's defeat by Reading on Saturday means the Blues could be top of the league by next Sunday if they defeat the Black Cats having sunk Wolves at Molineux.

Manager Joe Royle says he is happy at the club's position at this stage of the season: "We know with five games left that if we win all five, we are in the Premiership.

"We are in control of our own destiny and it's certainly a situation that we would have settled for at the start of the season."

If, as expected, Miller is OK to continue in midfield the Blues are likely to be unchanged for the third game running.

Wolves boss Hoddle says he wants his side, who have drawn 20 of their matches in 2004/05, to look for three points despite a play-off challenge being now being unlikely: "We know they will be coming for a win but they know we won't be taking our foot off the pedal.

"We want to finish the season with as many points as possible and we want to see the good form we have shown of late result in a win.

"It's going to be a good test for us against one of the best sides in the division and, if the pitch allows, it should be a good footballing game.

"Ipswich have had an excellent pitch to play on this season and that has helped them. They are a strong side but you can score against them, as Rotherham showed in midweek."

Hoddle has Keith Andrews (groin), Mark Clyde (knee), Matt Murray (foot) and George Ndah (thigh) all out injured, while striker Vio Ganea is recovering after knee surgery.

Monday's referee is Premiership official Steve Dunn. The Gloucestershire-based arbiter has shown 60 yellow and two red cards in 30 games this season. He last took control of Town in last season's 2-1 win at Gillingham when he booked Fabian Wilnis, Matt Richards and Matt Elliott.

Squad: Davis, Price, Wilnis, Unsworth, Richards, De Vos, Naylor, Magilton, Miller, Westlake, Currie, Horlock, Bent, Kuqi, Couñago, Scowcroft.
