Fab Hopeful of New Deal - Ipswich Town News
Full-back Fabian Wilnis is hopeful that he can win another deal with the Blues. The 34-year-old's contract at Portman Road is up at the end of June.
Wilnis told the club site: "I've been happy with the way I've been playing this season and I think the manager has been too, so I'm hopeful of earning a new deal.
"At this stage, it's just a case of waiting to see what division we are in really and we'll have to see what happens.
"I'd love to stay for at least another year though, and it would be great if that was in the Premiership."
Wilnis joined the Blues from De Graafschap for £200,000 in January 1999 and has made 246 appearances, scoring five goals.
