Knights in England Team - Ipswich Town News

Academy striker Darryl Knights has been named in the England U17 side facing Belarus this afternoon in Santa Croce Sull Arno, Italy. The game is England's opener at the UEFA European U17 Championships.

Turkey are England's opponents in Pontedera on Thursday before they complete their group games against the hosts in Cascina on Sunday. Two sides qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament from each group.

Knights will be winning his tenth cap at this level and will hope to score his first goal.

England U17s: David Button, Elliot Omozusi, Leigh Mills, Michael Mancienne, Scott Golbourne, Lewis McGugan, Scott Phelan, Hogan Ephraim, Darryl Knights, Myles Weston, James Vaughan.
