Hamilton Resigned - Ipswich Town News
It has emerged that Bryan Hamilton resigned from his job of manager of Norwich City. Hamilton had increasingly become a target for boo-boys as City continued their terrible start to their Nationwide Division One season.
Norwich are currently fifth from bottom and rumours suggest that he had fallen out with many of the players. A number are refusing to sign new contracts and Lee Marshall was put on the transfer list last week. There was also a well-publicised dressing room bust-up just two days before the departure of Craig Bellamy.
Prior to joining Norwich, originally as Director of Football, Hamilton had been coach at Town where he had enjoyed a bit of success. The move to Norwich meant he had a bit more power of the direction of the club, something he felt he hadn't got at Town. He took over as manager from Bruce Rioch at the end of last season, but things rarely went well.
