The Football League have announced the officials for both legs of the play-off semi-final with West Ham. Uriah Rennie will take control of the Upton Park leg on Saturday, while Steve Dunn will be in charge at Portman Road next Wednesday. Both officials are members of the FA's elite group of referees.
Rennie has shown 60 yellow cards and two red in 30 matches this season. The Sheffield official's last Town game was back in April 2003 when the Blues defeated Coventry 4-2 at Highfield Road, Darren Bent and Pablo Couñago both scoring twice.
No Town players were booked in that game and the Blues have generally won with Rennie in charge, losing only once, at Charlton in the relegation season.
Dunn most recently oversaw the Blues only last month when Town were defeated 2-0 at Wolves, James Scowcroft picking up a yellow card. The Gloucestershire arbiter has shown 77 yellow and two red cards in 35 matches this season. The Blues have a less than impressive record with Dunn in charge.
The assistant referees for the first leg are Steve Dorr (Worcestershire) and Peter Kirkup (Northamptonshire), while the fourth official is Steve Tanner (Somerset).
At Portman Road, the lines will be run by Bernard Baker (Hampshire) and Phil Sharp (Hertfordshire) and the board held up by Paul Taylor (Hertfordshire).
