Bowden on Play-Off Cash - Ipswich Town News

Chief executive Derek Bowden says that reaching the play-off final would be worth £1 million to the club. Promotion to the Premiership would net the winning side more than £20 million.

Bowden told the club site: "The four clubs in the play-offs will each receive about £250,000.

"Getting to the final in Cardiff though, would take that income up to a minimum of £1 million.

"It's been tradition now over the last four years that the winners of the final donate their half of the proceeds from the game to the losing side, that's normally about £750,000."
