U17s Off to Holland - Ipswich Town News
Town have sent an U17 squad to Holland for the Ten Brinke Bouw Tournament, held between today and Sunday. Included in the party is FA Youth Cup final winning goal scorer Edward Upson.
The Blues are in Group B along with Brazilian club Pão de Açúcar and Dutch sides PSV, Ajax and De Graafschap.
Group A consists of Bayer Leverkusen, Paris Saint-Germain, Feyenoord, Heerenveen and a select side from the Varsseveld region in which the competition is based.
Town's first game is against Ajax on Saturday morning, with the PSV and Pão de Açúcar following later in what promises to be a busy day. The De Graafschap game is on Sunday with the final and place play-offs following.
