Juan For the Future - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Jimmy Juan is to remain on loan at Portman Road for a further season. The 21-year-old Monaco player joined Town in January but injury has so far prevented him from making a first team debut.
Boss Joe Royle clearly rates the Frenchman and has included him in his 18-man play-off squad: "I am delighted that Jimmy will be back with us next season and he is very much in my plans for our remaining games this month.
"I know what Jimmy can do and he has got better and better in recent weeks as his fitness has improved with games.
"He hadn't played a lot of football when he first arrived from Monaco and then he was injured. The only thing holding him back was his fitness."
While Royle doesn't expect to hand Juan a start during the play-offs, a role from the bench looks likely.
