Boston in Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Town will travel to Boston United for a pre-season game on Saturday, July 16th (KO 3pm). The Blues last took on the Pilgrims ahead of the 2003/04 season, when goals from Ian Westlake and Alun Armstrong gave Town a 2-0 victory.
Boston are expecting a full-strength Town side to make the trip to York Street.
Details of the club's pre-season programme are still sketchy with only a benefit match for former coach Brian Owen away at Colchester confirmed, although as yet a date has not been set.
The Blues are also hopeful that Lazio will come over for the first of the two friendlies they agreed as part of the deal which took Matteo Sereni to the Rome club.
