Colchester Date Set - Ipswich Town News
Town's pre-season match at Colchester United has been set for Tuesday, August 2nd. The game is a benefit match for former Town youth coach Brian Owen.
Owen, who was at Portman Road in the Bobby Robson era, is a former U's physio and is currently a coach at Layer Road.
As reported yesterday, the Blues will take a first team squad to Boston United for a friendly on Saturday, July 16th, while Lazio are expected at Portman Road at some point during pre-season for the first of their two friendlies agreed as part of the Matteo Sereni deal.
