New Deal for Gaardsøe - Ipswich Town News
West Bromwich Albion have taken up an option to add an extra year to former Blue Thomas Gaardsøe's contract. Albion are keen to secure the Dane's future for even longer and will meet with the ex-AaB player to discuss an extended deal.
Gaardsøe controversially joined the Baggies from Town for £750,000 in July 2003.
Another former Town defender, Chris Makin, has been released by Derby, but could be offered a deal later in the summer when the Rams' budget for the season becomes clearer.
