Charlton Bid for Bent? - Ipswich Town News
Charlton are reported to have made a £3.2 million bid for Town striker Darren Bent. The Addicks have long been admirers of the England U21 international and had a £3 million offer turned down last summer.
Bent, who has a year left on his Town contract, has told the Blues that he wants to make a move into the Premiership this summer.
In addition to Alan Curbishley's side, Sunderland, Aston Villa, Birmingham, Manchester City and Everton have all been linked.
