Peters at Canada Camp - Ipswich Town News
Jaime Peters has been named in a 22-player Canada U20 squad for a pre-tournament training camp and matches in Lievin, France next week. Peters will officially sign for the Blues when he returns to the club for pre-season at the beginning of July.
Canada's youngsters take on Morocco in a friendly on June 3rd and then face a Belgian select side in an exhibition match on June 6th. The games are part of their preparations for the FIFA World Youth Championships in Holland.
The Canadians travel to Tilburg on June 7th for the tournament which runs between June 10th and July 2nd.
Canada are in Group E with Colombia, Italy, and Syria. They open their campaign on June 12th when they play Syria. Then they face Colombia on June 15th and then Italy on June 18th in Kerkrade.
