Tommy Could Still Stay - Ipswich Town News

Tommy Miller's father, Tommy senior, says the Town midfielder is torn between staying with the Blues and a move to one of Sunderland, Crystal Palace or Leeds United, all of whom have offered him contracts. Miller is represented by his father who is chief scout at his former club Hartlepool.

Miller senior says Town are still in with a good chance of keeping their top-scoring midfield player: "Tommy has not ruled out signing a new deal with Ipswich - that is still a very strong option.

"He's torn been staying at Ipswich and getting a fresh start."

The 26-year-old is not expected make his decision until he returns from his honeymoon on June 21st, having married his long-time girlfriend Emma on Saturday.

The player's father says that the Town chairman sent his good wishes: "The Ipswich chairman David Sheepshanks called him before the wedding to wish him all the best.

"While he is away he is going to think what is best to do.

"There have been lots of reports linking him with Celtic, but I've heard absolutely nothing on that front."
