Kuqi to Start for Finland - Ipswich Town News
Striker Shefki Kuqi is expected to win his 37th international cap this evening when Finland take on Holland in a Group One World Cup qualifier in Helsinki.
Kuqi started last week's friendly with Denmark and is likely to partner Jari Litmanen up front but with Mikael Forssell, on the way back from a lengthy injury absence, replacing him at some stage.
Meanwhile, Jaime Peters and the Canada U20 squad have arrived in Tilburg, Holland for the FIFA World Youth Championship.
Canada are in Group E with Colombia, Italy, and Syria. They open their campaign on June 12th when they play Syria. Then they face Colombia on June 15th and then Italy on June 18th in Kerkrade.
Peters is expected to formally sign for the Blues when he returns to Portman Road for pre-season training on July 4th.
