Peters Faces Colombia - Ipswich Town News
Jaime Peters and Canada's U20 side continue their World Youth Championship campaign this evening when they take on Colombia in Tilburg, Holland. Peters is expected to formally sign with the Blues after pre-season training begins on July 4th.
The 18-year-old winger is a slight injury concern after picking up a minor leg injury in the draw with Syria on Sunday in which he scored the Canada goal.
Colombia won their opening group game 2-0 against Italy and Peters says the South Americans' big following in Holland will give them an added advantage: "With the amount of fans the Colombians have over here, it's going to be like playing an away game."
Canada complete their group fixtures on Saturday when they play Italy in Kerkrade.
