Peters and Canada Out - Ipswich Town News
Jaime Peters and the Canada U20s exited the FIFA World Youth Championship in Holland after a 4-1 defeat to Italy left them bottom of their group. Peters is set to join the Blues officially after he returns to Portman Road for pre-season training on July 4th.
The 18-year-old winger played the full 90 minutes of the Canadians' final game. Earlier in the competition his side drew 1-1 with Syria, Peters scoring their goal, and lost 2-0 to Colombia.
