Diallo Linked to Owls - Ipswich Town News
Released Town defender Drissa Diallo is to join newly-promoted Sheffield Wednesday, according to a weekend tabloid report.
Elsewhere in the papers, the Blues are mentioned in connection with former keeper Richard Wright, apparently unwanted by Everton, although his wages are almost certainly many times out of cash-strapped Town's reach. Free agent Shaka Hislop is has again been linked.
Sheffield United have denied any interest in Reading striker Nicky Forster, who looks ever more likely to sign for the Blues in the next week.
Crystal Palace are once again reported to be Shefki Kuqi's new club, although Blackburn are mentioned by a few other sources. Boss Joe Royle revealed last week that the Finnish international striker would leave the club when his contract is up at the end of June.
