Rovers Confirm Kuqi Talks - Ipswich Town News
Blackburn Rovers have confirmed that they are in talks with Shefki Kuqi regarding the striker moving to Ewood Park. Last week out-of-contract Kuqi told Town he would not be staying with the Blues.
Rovers' chief executive John Williams revealed that boss Mark Hughes has held talks with the Finn's representatives: "Mark is interested in Shefki because he feels he could give us something different.
"We have spoken to his people but we have not made an offer as yet."
Kuqi has also spoken to Crystal Palace but would almost certainly prefer a move to the Premiership.
Town have withdrawn the offer of a two-year deal at Portman Road.
