Camara Joins Celtic - Ipswich Town News
Town target Mo Camara has completed a Bosman free transfer to Celtic. As reported earlier, the former Burnley man was at Parkhead today and completed negotiations and a passed a medical before signing a two-year deal.
New Celtic boss Gordon Strachan is pleased with his first signing: "He's got pace, he's got enthusiasm and he's got experience now.
"Tom O'Neill watched him for a long time last season and Tom put a lot of positive ticks where the ticks were needed. Gary Pendrey has seen him a lot and Gary's my assistant manager.
"I've seen him a few times and I think we've all come to an agreement that if we can sign someone of this quality on a Bosman, we have to take it."
Joe Royle had been chasing Camara since before Christmas and will now have to look elsewhere for a new full-back.
