Joe Hopeful on Duo - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle says he is hopeful out-of-contract pair Fabian Wilnis and Jim Magilton will sign their new one-year deals with the club. Wilnis has already said he is keen to remain with the Blues, but Magilton is yet to publicly indicate whether he will commit to another year at Portman Road.
A usually reliable TWTD source told us at the weekend that Magilton would be moving on, however, Royle told the club site that he expects the Northern Irishman to stay at with the club: "The indications are that Jim and Fabian will both sign.
"We are also hopeful that Dean McDonald and Jimmy Juan, on a season-long loan, will also commit themselves to Ipswich Town."
McDonald has been offered a year with the club having proved himself on a short-term contract last season.
Monaco midfielder Juan, 22, joined the Blues on loan in January but a foot injury prevented him from making a first team appearance.
