No Ads on Shorts - Yet - Ipswich Town News
Town will not have advertising on their shorts during 2005/06, however this could change in future seasons. Changes to Football League rules last season allow clubs to sell smaller adverts on their kit in addition to their main sponsors.
Director of sales and marketing Andrew Goulbourn says: "ITFC will not have advertising on players' shorts for the 2005/06 season. However, with the need for the club to maximise revenues in mind, we will review this policy for subsequent seasons."
It is likely that Powergen's contract - up at the end of next season - gives them exclusive rights to kit advertising.
