Unsworth Link Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle has confirmed that he is looking to sign former loanee David Unsworth. The full-back or central defender has been told he has no future at Portsmouth.
Pompey will either have to settle his contract or allow him to join the Blues on a season-long loan while paying much of his wages to make him affordable to Town.
Royle says he has not started talks with the player: "I haven't spoken to David as yet, but that doesn't mean I won't be.
"Ideally, I would like to sign two defenders and there's another player I also have in mind."
