Sources in Lancashire are suggesting that Morecambe may be about to back down on their earlier aim of keeping the Third Round FA Cup tie at Christie Park. The Morecambe chairman may be about to announce a switch to Portman Road with the windfall that would bring being an irresistible carrot.
The Morecambe board are apparently to meet this evening to decide where they want the game to be played.
