Town's home Carling Cup first round tie with Yeovil has moved to Tuesday, August 23rd from the following day (KO 7.45pm).

Colchester play Cardiff at Layer Road in the same competition on the Wednesday and the Blues have switched their fixture in order to avoid a clash. The two clubs use many of the same stewards.
