Trialists in Squad - Ipswich Town News
Town have included trialists Rui Marques and Edwin Ouon in the squad for this evening's home friendly with Scottish Premier League champions Rangers (KO 7.45pm). The defenders are currently on a three-day trial at Portman Road.
Boss Joe Royle, back at work after his knee replacement operation, also includes youngsters Owen Garvan, Shane Supple, Dean McDonald and Aidan Collins in his 19-man squad.
Royle plans to start with what he sees as his first team but is likely to introduce some of the youngsters and trialists as the game progresses.
Fabian Wilnis is a doubt having picked up a knee injury. The Dutchman, who signed a new one-year deal this summer, missed training on Monday.
Squad: Bowditch, Collins, Currie, De Vos, Forster, Garvan, Horlock, Juan, Magilton, Marques, McDonald, Naylor, Ouon, Parkin, Price, Richards, Supple, Westlake, Wilnis.
