Spanish Defender on Trial - Ipswich Town News
Town are taking Spanish defender Sito on a week's trial. The 25-year-old, 5ft 9in tall full-back is a free agent having recently left Spanish second division side Racing Club de Ferrol.
Sito, real name Luis Castro RodrÃguez, is primarily right-sided but can also play on the left.
Boss Joe Royle plans to give the La Coruña-born player a run-out in Friday's pre-season friendly at home to Atlético Madrid.
Royle told the club site: "The lad is training with us this week and hopefully we will have the opportunity to have a look at him in the Atlético game on Friday night."
