Knights to Get Call-Up - Ipswich Town News
Academy striker Darryl Knights will be in the first team squad for Friday's home friendly with Atlético Madrid. The Blues are short of strikers with Dean Bowditch and Nicky Forster being rested with slight knocks.
Already Town boss Joe Royle has revealed that Dean McDonald will start alongside Sam Parkin against the Spanish side.
Knights made his senior debut in the 2-0 defeat to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last November.
Town are taking a reserve side to take on Canvey Island at their Park Lane ground this evening (KO 7.30pm).
