Bowditch a Doubt - Ipswich Town News
Striker Dean Bowditch is a doubt ahead of Saturday's opening league game of the season at home to Cardiff City. The England U19 international injured his foot during the pre-season tour of Hungary.
Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "Dean has a bruised instep and it's still sore when he makes contact with the ball.
"He has made progress today and done some running, twisting and turning and, while it is a little uncomfortable, he has moved forward.
"We will have to see how he goes over the next two days, but at the moment he is certainly no more than 50/50 for the weekend."
New signing Nicky Forster is expected to be fit to face the Bluebirds after missing a number of pre-season games with a thigh injury.
