Sito Deal Back On - Ipswich Town News
Spanish full-back Sito could still join the Blues despite having turned down a contract yesterday. The club have made the former Racing Club de Ferrol man a new offer and talks are ongoing.
Sito refused Town's initial one-year offer but the Blues are understood to be hopeful that they can secure his signature in time for Saturday's opening league game of the season at home to Cardiff City.
The 25-year-old came to Town on trial last week and played 45 minutes in the pre-season matches against Atlético Madrid and Colchester United and impressed boss Joe Royle.
