Issue 78 On Sale - Ipswich Town News

A new season means a new issue of TWTD, number 78. Our sellers will be around the ground (outside Churchman's, by Planet Blue, Sir Alf and Sir Bobby) before from 1pm.

This issue's interview star is new signing Sam Parkin who talks about his hopes with Town and Scotland, his time at Swindon, his holiday in Australia and his pimp party.

Elsewhere, there are articles on TWTD's debut appearance in a prestigious London art exhibition alongside a mechanical elephant, the full Jim Magilton contract saga, the late 60s, early 70s Blue Arrow trains, warm Lidl beer in the North Stand, the view from the Swindon lot on Parkin and a Royal opinion on Forster, as well as much, much, much more, all for an ultra-bargain £1.20. You can also purchase a six-issue subscription from our online zine site at www.twtdonline.co.uk.

As well as on our stall by Sir Alf, TWTD's Phil can also be spotted on Anglia TV's SportyFacts which starts this evening (11pm). The sports quiz show, presented by comedian Kevin Day, also features former Blues John Wark and Simon Milton and other Town supporters taking on the teams from the likes of Norwich City and Northampton Saints rugby club.
