Fish Angling for Move - Ipswich Town News

On-loan defender Mark Fish says he wants to move to Town permanently. The Charlton player will makes his debut for the Blues at QPR on Tuesday.

Fish told the club site: "I'm looking forward to playing some first team football and hopefully helping Ipswich enjoy a good start to the season.

"I spoke to Matty Holland and Hermann at Charlton and they told me what a good club Ipswich is and what a good manager Joe Royle is to work for, so it was an easy decision for me to come here.

"I'm still contracted to Charlton for another year, but Alan Curbishley has told me that if I can find a new club then he would be willing to let me go, and a move to Ipswich would certainly appeal.

"When you look around the facilities and the set-up here, it's a club that deserves to be in the Premiership and I'm here to play my part in the club getting back to that level."
