Price in Wales Squad - Ipswich Town News
Lewis Price has been included in the full Wales squad for their friendly with Slovenia at Swansea next Wednesday. Boss John Toshack has been impressed by Price and has hinted he will give the Town stopper an international debut against the central Europeans.
Price, who has won six caps at U21 level, is the only Welsh keeper playing regularly in either of the top two divisions and Toshack is ken to field players involved with their clubs. The 21-year-old was called into the full squad for the World Cup qualifiers with Austria last season but wasn't handed a start.
Wales: Coyne (Burnley), Jones (Wolves), Price (Ipswich), Collins (West Ham), Delaney (Aston Villa), Duffy (Coventry), Edwards (Wolves), Gabbidon (West Ham), Page (Coventry), Partridge (Bristol City), Ricketts (Swansea), Roberts (Tranmere), Thatcher (Man City), Davies (Everton), Fletcher (West Ham), Koumas (Cardiff), Robinson (Sunderland), Vaughan (Crewe), Williams (West Ham), Bellamy (Blackburn), Earnshaw (West Brom), Giggs (Man Utd), Hartson (Celtic).
