Currie to Miss Out? - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Darren Currie could miss Saturday's game at Leicester if his wife Emma gives birth to their first child on Saturday. The baby is due today and Currie hopes that the baby's arrival will not coincide with the match.
Currie says: "I'm hoping the baby arrives on time so I don't have to miss the game. The lads have been coming up with a load of ideas to help things along but we have to be patient. The baby will come along when it is ready."
Currie married Emma, the daughter of former Arsenal defender Steve Walford, in the summer.
Last season former keeper Kelvin Davis missed the game at Leeds after travelling back to Suffolk to be with his wife who had given birth to their daughter the previous night.
