Joe Still Looking - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle is still keen to add a defensive player to his squad ahead of the closure of the transfer window next week. The Town manager has been on the look-out for defensive recruits all summer.
Royle said: "We are looking at Premiership clubs with a view to taking a player on a three or six-month loan.
"The position I want to fill is a defender who can also play as a defensive midfielder."
The Blues currently have former Athletic Bilbao defender or midfielder Ã"scar Vales on a week's trial.
