Vales to Play in Reserves - Ipswich Town News
Town hope to play Spanish trialist Óscar Vales in next Tuesday's reserve game at Fulham. Boss Joe Royle says he has been impressed with the former Athletic Bilbao defender or midfielder during his trial with the Blues this week.
Royle will make a decision on whether to add the 30-year-old to his squad after seeing him in match action: "We have a reserve game next week and we're looking at the lad playing in that match.
"He's done well while he has been here and is obviously a very good player. We will have to make a decision next week on where we go with it."
Vales was released by Athletic Bilbao at the end of last season and is available on a free transfer.
