Vales Signing Unlikely - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle says trialist Óscar Vales will probably not be joining the Blues. The former Athletic Bilbao defender has impressed in his week at the club and was set to play for the reserves tonight, but it appears Town cannot agree terms with the 30-year-old Spaniard.
Royle said: "We are talking to Ã"scar's representatives but at the moment I would say it's odds against him coming to Portman Road.
"We had him down to play against Fulham but if we can't agree a deal before then I wouldn't think he will play."
The reserves take on the Cottagers at their Motspur Park training ground (KO 7pm).
