Darren Bent's failure to appear in England's abject 1-0 defeat to Northern Ireland in Belfast means that Town will have to wait for a top-up on the deal which took the striker to Charlton. The Blues will receive a six-figure sum when the 21-year-old makes an appearance in a competitive international.
Bent was left on the bench for both the 1-0 victory in Wales on Saturday and at Windsor Park.
Lewis Price, the only current Town player away on international duty, was an unused sub as Wales lost 1-0 to Poland in Warsaw.
Elsewhere, former Blue Hermann Hreidarsson scored as Iceland lost 3-2 in Bulgaria.
