Prutton Out for Saints - Ipswich Town News

Southampton will be without midfielder David Prutton when they face the Blues at Portman Road on Tuesday. The former Forest man injured his foot during the 1-1 draw with QPR at the weekend and faces around a month on the sidelines.

Harry Redknapp will choose between veteran Dennis Wise and new Polish signing Kamil Kosowski as Prutton's replacement.

Frontman Kenwyne Jones is doubtful with an ankle injury, while Marian Pahars and Michael Svensson remain on the sidelines.

Saints signed former Darlington midfielder Jason St Juste earlier this week but the 19-year-old will not be involved against Town. Harry Redknapp hasn't seen St Juste play, the winger having been brought to the club by new coach Simon Clifford, an associate of technical director Sir Clive Woodward.

Tuesday's referee is Phil Joslin from Nottinghamshire who has shown 18 yellow and two red cards in six games this season. Joslin last refereed the Blues in the 3-1 home win over Cardiff in August 2004.
