Reserves Hammered - Ipswich Town News

Town's young reserves were beaten 4-0 by a strong West Ham side at Upton Park on Tuesday night. The Hammers goals all came in the first half from Tony Stokes, Jeremie Aliadiere, Petr Mikolanda and Christian Dailly.

Darryl Knights hit the bar early on but chances were rare for the Blues as the experienced home side took control from the off.

Danny Haynes, included in the senior squad for the first time for Tuesday's game against Southampton, impressed again, while Jimmy Juan didn't look entirely comfortable in an unfamiliar right-back role.

West Ham included the likes of Shaka Hislop, Shaun Newton, James Collins and Elliott Ward in their side.
