West Ham Watching Garvan - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that West Ham considered making a £1 million bid for Owen Garvan prior to the closure of the summer transfer window. The 17-year-old is tipped for a big future and the Hammers have regularly watched the midfielder since spotting him playing in Town's reserves last season.
Garvan, capped by Ireland at U15 and U16 levels, has long been marked out as the academy's next big star and it is little surprise that Premiership clubs are keeping an eye on his progress.
The Hammers may look to firm up their interest come the January transfer window, although the Blues would be loath to sell such a promising player at this early stage of his career even if the coffers could do with a boost.
