Joe: No Loanee Yet - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle says Town will not be making a loan signing today, but another striker could come in on Wednesday. Royle has been looking for an addition to his squad since Nicky Forster underwent a cartilage operation in August.
The Town manager told the club site: "We need to get in another frontman and we've made some enquiries but it's unlikely that anything will happen today, possibly Wednesday."
Last week, Royle revealed that Arsenal youngster Arturo Lupoli was a player he had targeted, while last month Leeds turned down a loan bid for Ian Moore.
Forster is set to return to action early in October.
