Forster to Return? - Ipswich Town News

Striker Nicky Forster could be named in Town's squad for the home game with Crewe on Saturday. The summer free signing has been out of action since undergoing cartilage surgery in August.

Joe Royle told the club site: "Fozzie has a chance of being included in the squad for Saturday.

"We have missed him, no doubt about that. We don't have a forward running player like him in the squad, someone who can get behind teams.

"But I have to be 100 per cent sure about his fitness because I don't want to take a risk on him.

"We will see how he gets on over the next two or three days before making a final decision."

Forster has been training with the academy and is due to return to full training on Thursday.
